A recent study released by the Annals of Neurology found a causal link between organochlorine insecticides and Parkinson’s disease. Farm workers exposed to pesticides were more prone to developing the disease and the longer the exposure the higher the risk.Although the study did not look at low-level exposure to pesticides and the risks that may accompany it, consumers should know if the products they buy contain harmful pesticide residues that may be harmful to their health.
